Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Rolo Work apps (Finance and Cal Sync) access, how it is used, and how you can remove it. Rolo Work is a private household tool run by Rolando Treviño Alanís for Rolando and Taylor only.
Google user data we access

Drive files the app creates (drive.file) | Finance | To create and update its own summary spreadsheet and receipt copies. It cannot open your other files with this permission. |
Calendars the app creates (calendar.app.created) | Finance, Cal Sync | To create the app's own calendars ("Money" in Finance, "<name> (Mac)" in Cal Sync) and add, update and remove events on them. Neither app can see or change any other calendar. |
How the data is used
- Only to provide the features described above, for the person whose account it is.
- Data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone outside the household.
- Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
- No person reads your Gmail or Drive content except you, or Rolando when debugging the app at your request.
Where it is stored
- Finance stores the household records it builds (transactions, receipt details and the files you attach) in a private database and file storage on Rolando's own Cloudflare account. Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted there too.
- Cal Sync runs only on a Mac at home. It reads the Apple calendars you chose on that Mac and writes copies to your Google account. Event title, time, location and notes are copied; attendees are never copied. Its Google sign-in token is kept only in that Mac's Keychain.
- Data travels only over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Keeping and deleting data
Data is kept while you use the apps. You can remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (remove "Rolo Work"). After that the apps can no longer reach your Google data. To have stored data deleted, email the address below and it will be deleted within 30 days. Calendars the apps created can also be deleted directly in Google Calendar.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Rolo Work's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
